Can I collect my order?

Collections can be made from our Romsey Address, but orders must be placed online or over the phone beforehand, as no stock is held on site, at our Romsey Address. Please get in touch at info@hardware-warehouse.co.uk for further information regarding collections of orders.

Are you VAT registered? Can I have a VAT Invoice?

Hardware Warehouse is a VAT registered company. VAT Receipts including our VAT Number are sent, as standard, to the email address listed on your order. However, please contact info@hardware-warehouse.co.uk if you require additional copies of your VAT Receipt.

Product Information

Do you stock this product in longer lengths?

All of our profiles come in pre-cut sizes and are available in either 1 or 2 metre lengths. We cannot supply anything longer than 2.5 metres in length, as this is the longest held by our supplier.

Do you stock other sizes, that aren't listed on your website?

All product sizes that we currently hold in stock, are listed on our website.

If you require a size that is not listed, please feel free to get in touch on 0330 333 5030 and we can check to see if it is something we can source for you.

What are the technical specifications and are there any supporting documents?

If you require specific material information that is not listed on the website or the datasheets of a product, we can try to obtain these from our supplier. It may take 2-3 working days for us to receive this information and pass this onto you. We cannot guarantee our supplier will be able to provide certain documentation and so we would advise requesting this information, before purchasing a product.

What are the product tolerances?

As standard, most of our products have +/- 0.25mm tolerances, but it is important to note that this is only an approximation and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this, should you purchase the product.

Can you supply custom sizes? Can I get a product cut to size?

We do not currently have the facilities to cut our products down to custom sizes. We can only provide the pre-cut sizes available from our supplier, which for our profiles are 1 or 2 metre lengths.

When will you be getting this product back in stock?

We usually receive a delivery from our supplier every two weeks (this may be delayed during public holidays). If a product has been out of stock for longer than this time, it may be out of stock with our supplier. In this case we can contact our supplier to give you an approximate date for when we are likely to receive the products back in stock.


Do you offer combined postage?

Postage is charged per transaction as opposed to per item, so you would only pay one price for multiple items. Additional fees may be applied for certain postal codes or for products that exceed the standard postage restrictions i.e. excessive weight.

How much is delivery?

Please see our Delivery Information for full details of our delivery services and fees. Most of our products under 1.5 metres will be sent on a 24 hour service with Parcelforce, with a fee of £8.99. Our longer 2 metre products are sent on a 48 hour service via Parcelforce, with a standard fee of £28.71. If you have a Business Delivery Address (that has been registered and approved by us) delivery will be sent via Tuffnells on a 24 hour service for £19.29 . Some postal areas incur additional zonal charges.

Why is postage so high?

We understand that our shipping fees are quite high, but unfortunately, due to the dimensions of our products (particularly the length), they incur additional surcharges for manual handling at the courier depots. We aren't able to cover these fees entirely ourselves and so these surcharges are reflected in the delivery rate.

However, if you are able to arrange your own collection and/or delivery of your order, at a cheaper cost, we are more than happy to help facilitate this for you.

What is the lead time for delivery?

For all UK Mainland addresses, orders are dispatched on a 48 or 24 hour service and so any orders placed before 12pm will be delivered within 1 - 2 Business Days (Monday to Friday). Any orders placed after the cut off time, at Weekends or on Bank Holidays, will be dispatched the following working day.

If you have selected the AM delivery service, your order will be delivered before 12pm the next working day (if your order was placed before 12pm).

Deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, may take between 2 and 5 days.

You should receive a Tracking Number and a link to the courier's tracking service once your order has been dispatched. If you have not received this or have not received your order in the designated time frame, please get in touch and we will investigate this and provide an update for you.
